Mayacama Golf Course
Permitting and Wetland and Riparian Mitigation
The Mayacama Golf Club site comprises 512 acres and is located in the hills northeast of Santa Rosa, in Sonoma County, California. WRA prepared applications and secured permits for project impacts to resources, including a Section 404 Individual Permit and a Section 401 Water Quality Certification under the Clean Water Act. WRA prepared construction drawings, specifications, and planting plans for the implementation of mitigation documents, such as the Wetland Mitigation Plan and the Seasonal Creek Association Replacement Plan. WRA prepared schematic grading plans and participated in on-site meetings with the golf course designers (Nicolas Design) in order to integrate the wetlands and stream channels into the design of the golf course. WRA provided construction observation services during the construction of the wetlands, stream channels, and planting phases of the project. WRA is currently conducting annual monitoring of the constructed wetlands, riparian enhancement areas, native grassland, and tree replacement areas to document and facilitate proper development of these areas in order to comply with project permit requirements.
Deliverables:
- U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and RWQCB permits
