Liza Wozniak,
MS, MPH
Biologist

Liza Wozniak received Masters degrees in Ecology from U.C. Davis and Environmental Health Science from U.C. Berkeley. She also holds a BS in Biology from Yale University. Her graduate research focused on the impact of food chain exposures to heavy metals on aquatic bird populations in San Francisco Bay.
Ms. Wozniak has six years of experience in environmental consulting focusing on biological surveying, site assessment, planning, and permitting projects. She has prepared NEPA/CEQA documents for projects including riparian habitat enhancement, dredging, quarrying, power line routing, marsh restoration, and public lands management. Her experience also includes preparation of Section 7 biological assessments, state and federal permit applications, mitigation and monitoring plans, environmental site assessments, biological constraints analyses, water quality analyses and ecological risk assessments. She is experienced in writing biological reports and giving public presentations. Ms. Wozniak has assisted with field surveys for California tiger salamander, California Red-legged Frog, vernal pool crustaceans, California Clapper Rail, Black Rail, and other special-status wildlife species. She also has experience with construction monitoring and training site workers for species including salmonids, San Francisco Garter Snake and California Red-legged Frog.
