Liston Witherill IV, MESM
Director of Business Development
Mr. Witherill is the Director of Business Development for WRA. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics from Cal State Northridge, where he studied environmental policy, political institutions, and environmental economics. He received his Master of Environmental Science and Management Degree from the Bren School at University California, Santa Barbara. While at Santa Barbara, Mr. Witherill focused on the intersection of business and the environment, specializing in Corporate Environmental Management and Eco-Entrepreneurship. He completed a group project that culminated in the creation of a fully formed business plan exploring the uses of social media and digital tools to incentivize buyers to live smarter, more sustainable lifestyles.
Mr. Witherill’s work at WRA includes internal and external business development, marketing operations, market trend research, and communications. Most importantly, he is a resource for the marketing and business development goals of everyone at WRA. Prior to arriving at WRA, Liston was the Vice President of Operations at California Solar in Oxnard, California. At California Solar, Liston managed the company’s finances, client interactions, and employees to ensure that business operations ran as smoothly as possible. Liston has also been a Project Manager at an environmental testing company as well as an entrepreneur. In his free time, Liston produces hip-hop and electronic music, reads, plays basketball, and enjoys the outdoors.
