Biologist

Ms. Wilson received a BS in Environmental Science from the University of Vermont's Rubenstein School of Natural Resources. Ms. Wilson's background includes field and laboratory work using advanced data collection and analysis techniques for natural resources applications. She has conducted plant, amphibian and invertebrate surveys, soil chemistry analyses, as well as stream habitat and geomorphic assessments. She has also performed extensive field and laboratory analyses of the chemical constituents of wetlands in Vermont with the University of Vermont and in Southeast Alaska with the U.S. Forest Service.
Ms. Wilson's work experience includes conducting rare plant surveys, wetland delineations, biological resource assessments, restoration and mitigation monitoring, vegetation mapping, and plant identification. She prepares habitat restoration plans, mitigation and monitoring plans, conservation easement documents, Section 7 biological assessments, Streambed Alteration Agreement applications, and other permit applications in the context of environmental regulatory compliance. She has also prepared storm water management plans and has experience mapping habitat features using CAD, GIS and GPS technologies. Ms. Wilson has worked in a variety of California habitat types including freshwater marsh, coastal salt marsh, riparian woodland, seasonal wetlands, oak woodland, montane coniferous forest, grassland, and mixed evergreen forest.
