Rebecca C. Miller,
MS
Biologist

Ms. Miller received her MS degree in conservation biology with a concentration in wetland ecology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has helped design wetland restoration experiments and has collected native seed, propagated plants, and removed invasive plants to restore wetland and upland habitats. She has presented research results at the Society of Wetland Scientists and the North American Benthological Society’s annual meetings, and has published in scientific journals.
Ms. Miller conducts rare plant surveys, biological assessments, wetland delineations, and vegetation monitoring in a diverse array of habitats and is experienced in multiple field sampling techniques for vegetation as well as aquatic invertebrates. She has experience preparing permit applications, mitigation and monitoring plans, and other regulatory documents. Ms. Miller has installed and maintained groundwater and sedimentation monitoring equipment and has monitored water quality. In addition she has used aerial photographs, GIS, and GPS technologies to map vegetation and landscape features.
