Project Manager Biologist (Posted: 8/14/10)
WRA, Inc. is seeking a career-minded Biologist with a minimum of two to three years experience managing resource agency permitting projects involving wetland delineation and mitigation planning and species consultations. The Project Manager will also be responsible for marketing activities and assisting technical staff to grow professionally. Experience with California's sensitive biological resources, CEQA, and habitat restoration strongly preferred. A Bachelor's degree in Biology/Ecology is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
This is a full-time position with medical/dental benefits, 401(k), and profit sharing.

Wetland Technician (Posted: 8/14/10)
WRA currently has an opening for an experienced biological technician. This is a full-time position with benefits, including health/dental insurance, 401k, and profit sharing. E.O.E
Responsibilities
- Wetland delineations
- Plant field surveys and monitoring
- Report and permit preparation
Required Qualifications
- BA/MA in biology/ecology
- Wetland delineation training and experience
- Familiarity with California flora and plant communities
- Excellent writing and analytical skills
Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience conducting wetland delineations
- Two or more years experience with environmental regulatory issues
- Knowledge of California special status plant species
- Proficient with Jepson Manual
- Habitat restoration experience
